Ways to Make Money on the Internet: Volume 3

We get a fair amount of visitors each day from simple Google searches. Recently, I have noticed an up tick in the number of people searching for ways to make money on the internet. I am sure this has a lot to do with the holiday season and many people looking for a quick way to make a few bucks.

Since it's clearly a popular topic, let's revisit it and get some new ideas.

Note: To set the expectation a little, understand that regardless of the claims you may see on the internet, it's unrealistic to make thousands of dollars in 30 days. It takes time and work, just like everything else you want to succeed with.

First - let's recap where we've been:

40 Ways to Make Money on the Internet was my first post on this topic and it was the result of a severe bookmark cleaning. To this day, I receive positive emails regarding this post so it's a great place to start. It contains sites including the basics such as Adsense all the way through getting paid to review software.

Make Money on the Internet: Part 2 was just that...part 2. It adds 10 additional ways to make money online including video submissions, getting paid to write a blog post, etc.

So here we are almost exactly a year since the last update. Here are a few of the sites that I have come across over the last few months.

Smorty: Simply get paid to blog about topics or products. You can earn anywhere from $6 to $100 per "opinion". They seemingly use Google Pagerank to help determine your pay. If your blog has been around for more than 3 months and it has a decent Pagerank, it may be worth checking out.

Sell your pictures: If you have a knack for photography and need some cash, putting them online can make you some money. Check out fotolia or Shutterstock.

Blogs need Writers: If you don't have the time or know-how to start your own blog, get in slowly. Some blogs, even Dumb Little Man, are always on the look out for contributors. As many have noticed, DLM has a "write for us" link on our site. One of my favorite sites, LifeClever, is also searching for help. This is not uncommon in the blog world, most of us have real jobs! If you need some money - there is no harm in asking the blog owner of your favorite blogs if you could write a few articles.

Mylot: This is an interesting social site that actually pays you to respond to discussions, start discussions, and refer friends. I say it is interesting because it seems to be a huge public forum that you get paid to contribute to. When you think of the ways you are all ready contributing to forums on the internet, this may be a way to collect something for your [cough] addiction.

Tutor.com: If you are a brainiac, you can get paid to tutor people like me online. Help a student in Algebra, Geology, or whatever.

Get A Freelancer: This site lists a ton of projects that need to be completed. If you have the skills for any of these, it could lead to some quick cash.

Zilo: Setup an online store and never have to worry about shipping or inventory. They handle it all for you.

User Testing: Review websites and get $10 each.

DealDotcom: You get a 35% commission on things people purchase through your affiliate link. If they sign up people, you get a 15% commission on those purchases as well. This is a 2-tier affiliate program.

I made a hub called 20 ways to make money online not too long ago. Now I present a new study conducted by myself that shows 50 ways to make money online. There is sure to be something included that can appeal to each and every person who puts this information to work.

Majority of internet users are there looking for ways to make money online. There are millions of people on the internet everyday, but only some actually know legitimate ways to make money. I was doing a lot of studying online, searching for ways to make good money online. Sure, there are ways to make money online, but what about “good money”? There aren’t millions of ways to make money online so that’s not even in the question. Although there are many ways to make money online, many people do not know these ways. I will be showing you 50 different ways to make money online.

There are different types of ways to make money. What that means is that not all money making opportunities have to be the same. It’s in different genres so to speak. If you like what you are doing, and then you are naturally going to put your all into the project. That’s why I have compiled of list of ways based on the genre that people could make money doing. Think about it this way. Ever had a job that paid good but you absolutely hated it? That hate may have caused you lots of money because you might have called out a lot and didn’t want to show up. The pain is unbearable. Now if you can find something that you love and has the potential to make you a millionaire, then you wouldn’t hesitate to jump into action. The following information is divided into groups/genres to give you an option of what you may want to do.

Options are everything in this world. If you have many options then you will be able to make a good choice. Without options, there are no choices. Maybe you know one way to make money, but you want to do something else. You may just find your passion in here.

1. Freelance Writing- Freelance writing has become popular over the past few years. People are able to use their hobbies as ways to obtaining money online. If you love to write as much as myself, then you will love what I have to offer you here. The following list is a list of web sites that allow you to freely write for them and earn money in the process.

· Associatedcontent.com-Associated content allows you to write for them like any other freelance writing site. The thing about this site that is different from others is that many are that the articles presented have price tags on them. Say for instance, you are writing about a movie and the article that you are writing for is worth $20, you will get $20 for the article that you have written. Basically, you are writing responses to article titles. Some articles require you to have a good performance, meaning that your article needs to be good. The better your article, the more you will get paid.

· Demand Studios.com- Demand Studios posts articles that it’s registered users write on web sites such as Ehow.com. Typically, they pay $15 for each article you write. The good thing about this site is that they pay you quickly, at the end of each week. The articles that are needed to be written are easy to write, and the pay rate is good. The only thing about this web site is that you are only allowed to accept 10 assignments at a time, which could put your writing on hold as you wait for them to accept your articles.

· About.com- While about.com doesn’t hire just anybody to write for their web site, those that do get accepted are able to make great money writing articls, as answers to questions that people may have been asking. First, you have to go through 3 weeks of training with this web site. At the end of the training, they will decide if you are eligible for their site or not. You do not get paid for the training but its well worth it. The average minimum monthly payments earned from this site are about $700 for the first 2 years and $500 after that. Some people make up to $2,000 a month working for about.com.

· Dailyarticle.com- Daily article is a new article web site. It shows many similarities to Constantcontent.com. Unlike Constant content, they take out 20% of your earnings compared to constant content’s 35%. One thing about this web site is that you give away the full rights to articles or writing material that you have created. That means once you sell your writing, you can’t resell it again because you have no copyright over it anymore.

· Reviewstream.com- On this site, you get paid to basically write reviews. Essentially, you can review anything that you feel like reviewing. They have three rates. The regular rate varies due to performance. It’s usually $1.50 per review, but it could vary depending on how well your review is. The minimum payout through paypal is $50.

· Families.com- This site usually pays people $3 per 300 word blog/post for beginners and $4 per post after completion of the 90 day probationary period. That’s a really easy way to make money. You can write about anything that you put your heart to. Nothing gets excluded at this web site. This is the easiest way to earn money online because there aren’t any set topics available here.

· Methodshop.com- This web site uses blogs for income. You make a blog and you place it to this web site. Not sure how it works but the posts that you place on that blog could be worth in between $20 and $200 per post.

· Suite101.com- Suite101 is a professional writing web site for the experienced writers. Mistakes are not tolerated here, so for those who aren’t good at writing shouldn’t come to this web site. You are required to offer a sample article as a little taste of what you can do for them.

· Helium.com- This is a site based on knowledge. If you know a lot about a particular subject, then you should come here to try and earn some money. They allow you to request topics to write about, so if you do not want to write about something that this web site may offer, you can request a topic that’s more suitable for you. They also allow you to win journalism rewards, making you more recognizable in the writing community. They offer writing competitions that offer cash prizes ranging from $10 to $120. It’s a great way for someone to earn a good amount of money.

· Rentaghostwriter.com- As the name of this web site suggests, you are a ghostwriter who is waiting for someone to purchase your writing. Besides the fact that the web site is surrounded by Google Adsense ads, it’s a pretty good way to earn money online.

· Wordfirm.com- Word firm is one of those experienced web sites that have been around for years. This web site is looking for experienced writers, copyeditors, and graphic designers. The writing for this web site is very strict and could be troublesome for those who haven’t mastered the art of writing.

· Hubpages.com- Hubpages is my personal favorite site to write for. There are different types of writers (they call us hubbers). There are regular writers, and then there are flagship writers. A regular writer doesn’t get paid to write, but earn money based on page impressions and affiliate programs. Flagship writers get paid in between $25 and $40 per article (hub) they publish. They also get to use affiliate programs like any other writer on the site. Flagship writers have a limit of 30 flagship hubs per month. There are four different available affiliate programs that work with Hubpages. You could use Amazon, Ebay, Kontera, and Google Adsense. That’s 4 different strings of income, not to mention the money earned from Hubpages itself. The article writing is very creative. They allow you to place images, news, rss feeds, and videos into your written content to better explain yourself.

· Triond.com- Triond allows you to write articles and earn money based on page impressions. You do not get a flat payment for every article you publish. The more impressions you get, the more money you will make.

· Xomba.com- xomba is a free community where you can earn money to write. It’s a free community. Something like a forum site mixed with a chat site. You make friends, write, and make comments, share ideas, and get paid, that simple.

· Squidoo.com- This site is similar to hubpages. It offers capsules that allow you to post images, videos, and written content on pages and earn money from page impressions.

2. Answering Questions-Believe it or not, people are being paid online just for answering questions. You’d be surprised at how much money people are willing to pay to get the information that they want. There are web sites online that allow you to give out your knowledge for profit. Some of these sites even allow you to bid on how much money your knowledge is worth. This is a great way to earn money online and the following information is based on web sites that allow you to earn money online.

· Expertbee.com- Expert bee is a web site where people ask questions and pay a certain amount of money to the lucky person who has been chosen to answer that question. Many people are beginning to use this web site because it’s very useful and a good way to make money online. Bids usually range from $1 to $100. There are some bids that may exceed $100, depending on the severity of the question. The public is desperate for answers and you are desperate for money. A match made in heaven.

· Justanswer.com- Another one of those web sites that allows you to earn money answering questions. Not as sophisticated as Expert Bee, but it could still generate a great deal of income for those hard working, intelligent people who sign up for this web site.

· ChaCha.com- Chacha is a web site that allows you to become an online guide. An online guide is someone who answers questions. It’s sort of like a search engine, but with humans. You can answer questions received either from the computer or through the phone. It’s a great way to generate some extra income

· Iwantyouranswers.com- This web site is…..shall I say, strange. It’s a place for those with high tech questions and those who have those high tech answers. The web site is for those who have experience with technology. This is a very strange site to anyone who doesn’t have much technological knowledge.

· Qunu.com- This web site is one of those NOW web sites. Live experts online help people with questions they may have. You can sign up for this web site, but it isn’t like other sites. You have to be available at all times to receive a requested question or you will miss out on it. They offer software for your computer that allows you to receive requests when you are asked a question by a customer.

· Guruza.com- Guruza is a new web site that allows people to answer questions and receive payments. The questions are “relatively stupid” a lot of the time. It should be easy for most people to earn money using this site.

3. Affiliate Marketing Programs- Affiliate marketing is one of the most profitable ways to make money online for anyone. There are many companies to suggest. I won’t be naming the obvious programs, such as Google Adsense, but this is a great list. There are now more trusted companies making affiliate marketing apart of their business. Companies are matching popular content that people prefer to view. Here is a handsome list of affiliate programs:

· Admob.com- Admob is a company that specializes in mobile content. If you have a mobile web site, you can use this program to advertise on your site. Although Google has this feature as well, some mobile web sites are not compatible with Google, so Admob is a great alternative to making money online. Admob works with majority of the mobile sites. It even works with subdomain sites.

· Clickbank.com- Clickbank is a web site that allows you to become an affiliate marketer and sell your items. You must have your own web site and domain name to be able to sell your items (particularly ebooks), but you could use any type of site to use the affiliate program. People have made beautiful income using this web site. I myself make at least $2,000 at the most every month. That’s because I spend most of my time with Google, but it’s worth a shot. $2,000 for someone who uses 4 different affiliate programs is great. Imagine if this were my only program I was using. The income would skyrocket. But if you love money, use this site. There are 2 different ways to earn, take advantage of it.

· Gamestop.com- Yes, you seeing this correctly. Gamestop now has an affiliate program. The most trusted gaming company has opened an affiliate program. I also use this site. Although I don’t earn as much as my other affiliate programs, I do earn enough. When people see the gamestop logo, they are going to click because the trust this company has built with the public is unparallel.

· Maxbounty.com- Affiliates with Maxbounty earn money from advertising sponsors on a pay for performance basis. This site has both in house managed campaigns for you to advertiste, and merchants wanting direct relationships with you. Beyond one of the industry’s best and unique reporting systems.

· Friendfinder.com- An affiliate program with a porn site. Want to know how much money that could generate. Considering that 1/3 of Americans watch pornography, chances of getting paid from this site are damn near 100%.

· Leadermarket.com- Leader market is an affiliate program that allows you to earn a little side money. By little side money, I mean a little side money. This site isn’t as good as sites like Yahoo publisher or Google Adsense, but it could bring a little money to your pockets.

· Liquidweb.com- Liquid web has an affiliate program. The ads that are displayed aren’t as “creative” as other sites, but they pay a good amount of money for advertising them.

· Adbrite.com- Adbrite is basically the normal alternative to Adsense. Everyone seems to enjoy using this site. The text link ads are very attractive and draw in clicks easily. Although the adbrite revenue is sometimes half that of Adsense, it’s a great company for larget business web sites. Adbrite is a great program if you have an adult web site (which Adsense doesn’t allow).

· Kontera.com- Kontera is an affiliate program that earns revenue for impressions and clicks. The ads can be popped up if hovered over, easily getting more clicks and generating more revenue. This is one of the powerhouse affiliate programs. Usually powerhouse programs generate powerhouse money, and that’s exactly what it does.

· Amazon.com- Amazon has an affiliate program that allows you to sell items from their site. You have the choice to choose what you want to sell to the public. Just by choosing a keyword, items related to that keyword will show up and be available to the public. You also get a little revenue due to page impressions.

· Ebay.com- Ebay is the same way that Amazon is, except that Ebay doesn’t just hire anyone. They have turned down a lot of people. I’ve been turned down 4 times, but it can generate excellent income.

4. Porn Affiliate Programs- Statistics show that pornography is one of the most (if not the single most) popular subject on the internet to date. It’s a sure way to draw in traffic and make great sells, earning lots of money from commission per sell. The following list below is sites that offer porn affiliate programs to its members.

· Nicheshop.com- Nicheshop has three different types of porn stores that you are able to advertise. You earn up to 55% of commission for every sell that you get. They specialize in attracting customers of all different sexual attractions. The products are priced low, meaning that you are more likely to have a constant stream of customers coming in. All you do is advertise products, so they can sell, and you earn commission every item you sell.

· JoannaAngelBucks.com- Offering pornographic material to those who enjoy punk/alternative rock girls. Just like any other porn program, you get paid to sell items.

· Markethealth.com- Market health is an affiliate program that sells health products. Using the same money making method as any other get paid to sell affiliate program, you sell products online and get paid a certain amount of commission to use these programs. This program allows you to advertise products such as herbs and medicines, appealing to the health community.

· Buydvdporn.com- Buy DVD porn is a web site that allows you to create your own online pornography store, selling products offered by their company. Once your store is finished, you can sell products from your web site.

· Hunkmoney.com- As the name may suggest, it is a gay porn site. This homosexual site allows affiliates to earn 60% commission per sell you make.

5. Stock market- The stock market is a great place to earn money. Using the internet to buy and sell stock is great also. What if I were to tell you that you can play in the stock market for free? That’s right, no risk at all. Matter of fact, what if I told you that you could earn money playing a risk free stock market game? Yeah, sounds too good to be true, but it’s possible. It started with me using virtual simulations of the stock market to learn some things before I decide to invest my hard earned money into the market, but I found out that I can earn money just for playing a virtual simulation. It isn’t that many legit sites out there, but I will show two sites that I know are worthy.

· Wallstreetsurvivor.com- Wall Street survivor is a fantasy wall street stock market game, offering a virtual simulation of the real stock market with all the real rules and regulations. Learning how to use the stock market is a great way to earn great money in the future. But for now, you can earn a little extra side money by using this virtual simulation to learn how to use the stock market while you earn a few extra dollars in your pocket when you meet the game requirements in this battle of the stocks game.

· Updown.com- Another virtual stock market game with the same rules as the real stock market. The payment plans are similar to wallstreetsurvivor.com. You have to meet certain criteria to get paid and win prizes, just as you would on wallstreetsurvivor.com.

6. Video Advertisement- Videos are a great way to make money online. You make money by placing ads on your videos and when people click those ads, you earn money and get a certain percentage of the earnings.

· YouTube- Youtube lets you utilize Google Adsense for video when you are a regular uploader to the site and have thousands of views of your videos. So upload regularly and you could be generating a large size income from the number one video site in the world.

· Ulinkx.com- Ulinkx is a website that allows you to utilize Google Adsense without meeting the criteria that YouTube requires. You can upload videos from YouTube, metacafe, myspace, and more. When you place ads on your videos, you gain revenue from clicks

· Break.com- A site where people upload videos. If your video shows up on the home page, you could earn up to $2,000.

· Lulu.com- You can publish things on this site and sell it. Videos, audio, ebooks, etc. Revenue sharing program.

· Blip.tv- Blip allows you to post videos on their site and earn money from them. There are many different ways to advertise your videos on their site with a variety of different options.

· Vuze.com- Vuze allows you to make content with ads so that you can generate revenue, or make it free with no ads at all.

7. Other Ways to make money online- These following ways don’t really fall into a category, but they could generate good revenue.

· Expotv.com- You get to upload a product review to this site. You can earn up to $10.00 per review

· Blogtalkradio.com- This site is a place where everyone with podcasts and those who are interested to make money with their podcasts.

· Odiogo.com- Odiogo is a free site that also allows you to generate advertising revenue. You may qualify if your listenership level reaches a higher level.

· We7.com- We7 shares money that’s made from the sites ads with downloaded music. Revenue sharing program.

Additional Money Making

People can make money creating ebooks and selling them on popular directories. The information that you place into an ebook must be accurate and legal, showing all of your best knowledge of the subject that your book obtains to. Using falsified knowledge could sum up to you being sued by angry customers or other legal actions being pursued. You must allow some area where you are able to write down, in plain english, that the information given may not be able to be duplicated. You must tell them that the information presented is not guaranteed to work, and results may vary depending on special circumstances. Guaranteed success to customers almost certainly means guaranteed failure.

Contracts are necessary to making sure that the content you present to customers does not get duplicated or stolen and used to sell as their own. People do these things on the internet a lot, so it would be wise to make these people sign contracts before you sell them your product. Making sure that you get paid is what its all about. If someone uploads your ebook onto a file directory and it gets sold or downloaded free, you can sue that person for breaching the contract and sue them for every single download that has taken place with that piece of information. Depending on the price that you were selling the piece for, you could generate an outstanding amount of income by making sure that people don't use your information freely.

Although there are no laws that state that you can't make a contract of your own in the United States, it would be wise to get someone more involved in the legal system to review your contract, letting you know if there are any errors in your contract and making sure that the contract that you are presenting is completely legal. An illegal contract could mean that you will lose every single dime that the person you were going to sue costed you.

40 Ways to Make Money on the Internet

I did a little bookmark scrub this morning and thought I would share the remaining content of my "Online Money" folder. To warn you, there are certain things that I don't like and never bookmark so:

What's NOT included: Taking Paid Surveys, Getting Paid to Surf the Internet, MLM, Contest Sites, "Buy my DVD, CD, Audiobook", etc.

What IS included: Things you can use to legitimately make money online - Everything from Getting Paid to review software to good ole' Adsense.

Infolinks - Infolinks is probably the highest paying option for your in-text advertising. On DLM, you will see underlined links scattered throughout articles. Those are a function of Infolinks and without disclosing too much, it's been a great source of income. Best is that they accept all sizes of websites and blogs. Just sign up and begin.

Build a Niche Store - This is a simple store development platform which enables you to create content based sites that generate income through the eBay affiliate programs. Pretty darn simple and increasingly popular.

Adbrite - Sell space on your site for text ads. This would work like the DLM Marketplace you see on the right of my pages although I chose to manage it myself.

Amazon Affiliate Program - Easily create a store or shopping section on your site instead of sending your visitors to Amazon. Amazon handles the shopping cart and fulfillment.

Amazon Seller - Sell your stuff on Amazon

Associated Content - If you write a story, how-to, rant, how-to cut grass, etc., you can submit it to them and they will pay you $3-$20 per article if they like it.

Yahoo! Merchant Solutions - This is a pretty simple and cheap way to create an online store.

Azoogleads - Another ad program. They do have some decent companies lined up as advertisers. You provide space, they'll provide an ad.

BidVertiser - PPC (pay per click) program with a low $10 payout amount.

Blog - Start a blog and consistently write excellent content. With good ad placement, you may make some money. I detail my process here: Simply Said, How to Blog.

Cafepress - You provide a design, they'll toss it on a T-Shirt, Hat, etc. No upfront costs. Get a free online shop and promote your products on your website.

Chitika - Their eMiniMalls service has shown great results for many Bloggers and site owners. You choose a keyword and they show relevant products on your site using a pretty unique interface.

Clickbank - Quickly becoming my favorite affiliate program. They have thousands of things for you to advertise on your site.

ClicknWork - Get paid $5-$150 per hour for basically doing freelance work on a per-assignment basis. You have to pass a pretty tough test to get in.

Clicksor - These are the guys that generate contextual ads on sites that show up when you hover over a double-underlined word.

Commission Junction - If you have a site, you can join Commission Junction. Once enrolled for free, you can choose companies whose ads are pertinent to your site. Companies have the ultimate say on working with you. There are easily over 1,000 companies to choose from here.

CreamAid - For blogs only, advertisers provide you with a topic and you write about it on your site. To do this, you have to install a flash widget into your blog post. The more people you bring into the conversation through the widget, the more you get paid. It's difficult to explain.

eefoof - Think of it as YouTube + Flickr + Music. You add original content and they pay you based on the visitors you attract.

Ether - If you are an expert on something, Ether provides a way for people to pay you to talk about it in a one-on-one setting. If you want to charge $250/hr, that's fine. You have to do all the advertising so you should have a blog or site already established.

eBay- Come on, you know what this is. Gather your junk and sell it!

eBay Stores - If you have a real store and want to sell your stuff online, this is a decent option to get you started.

ELance - Name gives it away. Programmers, Codes, Web Designers, Writers, Editors, can look for freelance opportunities.

Feedvertising - This is an arm of Text Link Ads and is currently only good for Wordpress 2.0 Users. This does me no good currently, but as you can guess, they place ads in your feed(s).

Feedburner / Google - Not only are they the best place to house your feeds, they will also add ads to your feed and website. You get paid per impression and if you implement Google Adsense to your feed, you are paid per click.

Google Adsense - Come on, you don't need an explanation; these ads are all over the place. Google displays relevant ads based on your site's content

Google Adwords - Create simple text ads and choose keywords that determine when they are displayed. This is where the Adsense Content comes from. You do not need a site for this.

H3.com - Get paid to fill jobs. Commissions range from $50-$5,000. It all depends on how tough the job is to fill and how desperate the hiring company is. This is another one that's tough to explain.

Indeed.com - Add their job board to your site. They then post jobs based on the geographic location of visitors and the position types you pre-select. I tried it and I they continually report that I sent 0 visitors and I know that's not right. Nevertheless, I may have an isolated problem so they make the list.

InnerSell - If you have a customer that wants to buy something you cannot sell, you can sell the lead here.

Jigsaw - It's a pretty flaky model but if you have a Rolodex full of good contacts, you can sell them here. I can't make sense of it but it looks like you get $0.10 per profile.

LinkShare.com - If you have a site, you can join Linkshare. Once enrolled for free, you can choose companies whose ads are pertinent to your site. Companies have the ultimate say on working with you. Like Commission Junction, there are a ton of companies waiting to evaluate your site.

Microsoft Adcenter - Bid on keywords and Microsoft places your created ads then they are searched for. This is similar to Google Adwords. You do not need a site for this.

Overstock.com - Sell your stuff on Overstock.com

Pay Per Post - I don't agree with this model entirely but they have advertisers that will pay you to write about their products on your blog.

Pheedo - If you have an RSS feed, run it through Pheedo. Like Feedburner, they can include ads into your feed and if you really become large, advertisers will pay a premium for you to show their ads.

Shareasale.com - I've never really worked with them but I do have an account. They are similar to Commission Junction and Linkshare however they seem to have lower tiered companies with advertising offers.

Shoemoney - This is a blog that can teach you a ton on making money online. I've spent hours reading his old stuff.

Software Judge - They will pay you up to $50 to review software.

Text Link Ads - I have never made a dime here but I know people that have. You can earn by sending advertisers to them or by selling spots on your site. You must have a real site or blog to do this - nothing on a shared domain (i.e. /blogspot).

Vibrant Media - Don't bother unless your site has 500,000 page views of text based content a month. If you have that readership, these are the guys that display bubble box ads to underlined words on your site.

ReviewStream - this is a site that allows you to review just about anything - - - perfumes, hotels, food, shops, electronics, magazines, you name it. I call this site "Review everything under the sun."

They give you $2 for a good review, but in instances your review doesn't meet their criteria, you get the bulk rate which is $0.40. No sign-up is needed, you access everything through your email which is also your Paypal email account (that is how they process your payment). Checking your submission status, update your earnings, are done by just entering your email. But you get confirmation messages in your personal email for all your transactions through ReviewStream.

From my personal experience, reviews that are 300 to 500 words long are the ones that get the $2 rate, but that doesn't work all the time. There is a technique too, I also found that most reviews I wrote about hotels, Health, and Electronic gadgets are paid $2 per review even some of those only contained 250 to 350 words, while those reviews I wrote about Food, Cosmetics, Books, Websites and Cellular services only got paid the bulk rate. Sfter submitting your review, it takes about 72 hours (excluding weekends) for it to be posted on the site and to get paid.

Payout is at $50 and you have to send them a formal request for payout, because some reviewers opt to accumulate funds before requesting payout. But payout is fast, usually within 2 hours from submitting your formal request.

Cons: Don't get too excited!!! $2 per review is easy to make, I know! I can easily type a 500-word review in 3 minutes. I can submit up to 20 or more reviews per day if I wish. ReviewStream - this is a site that allows you to review just about anything - - - perfumes, hotels, food, shops, electronics, magazines, you name it. I call this site "Review everything under the sun."

They give you $2 for a good review, but in instances your review doesn't meet their criteria, you get the bulk rate which is $0.40. No sign-up is needed, you access everything through your email which is also your Paypal email account (that is how they process your payment). Checking your submission status, update your earnings, are done by just entering your email. But you get confirmation messages in your personal email for all your transactions through ReviewStream.

From my personal experience, reviews that are 300 to 500 words long are the ones that get the $2 rate, but that doesn't work all the time. There is a technique too, I also found that most reviews I wrote about hotels, Health, and Electronic gadgets are paid $2 per review even some of those only contained 250 to 350 words, while those reviews I wrote about Food, Cosmetics, Books, Websites and Cellular services only got paid the bulk rate. Sfter submitting your review, it takes about 72 hours (excluding weekends) for it to be posted on the site and to get paid.

Payout is at $50 and you have to send them a formal request for payout, because some reviewers opt to accumulate funds before requesting payout. But payout is fast, usually within 2 hours from submitting your formal request.

Cons: Don't get too excited!!! $2 per review is easy to make, I know! I can easily type a 500-word review in 3 minutes. I can submit up to 20 or more reviews per day if I wish. But when I once did that --- I once sent about 12 reviews in one day, they only paid me $2 for two of the reviews and everything else was paid $0.40.

So you see, you really can't make thousands of $ from this site in one month. If you just want a few couple of bucks or an extra $100 a month, this can be a great place to make it.

PaidMailz - this site pays you to do several things like readin emails, searching products, clicking on ads, or referring your freinds - - - whichever you will find more interesting or convenient. Payout is at $1, and it's free to join!

Trekpay – is a site which allows you to make money (about $5 to $200 in a month depending on how much time you want to spend on the site). It is really a very easy way to make money, coz the site pays you to do things you are actually doing - - - browse through pages, click on an ad, search items, etc... - - -

This is a gold mine for bloggers who have the time and the patience to seize those opportunities (that easily turns gray). I have been with PayPerPost for quite some time now and the bulk of my online earnings come from them. Even with the creation of Real Rank, Page Rank still matters in PayPerPost. Also, being located in the US is a great advantage when you are doing PPP. Aside from the pool of opportunities, you can also earn from PPP Direct, Review My Posts, and their Referral system.
Sponsored Reviews
These have always been prompt when it comes to paying their bloggers. They pay twice a month via PayPal. There’s a pool of opportunities to choose from and you bid for these opportunities. Once an advertiser accepts your bid, you have 7 days to complete the review.

Review Me
This is another Get Paid to Blog site where you can earn an income by making a review about advertisers products. My best experience with Review Me is that they always pay on time. For the pay period of August, I have earned $65 from them and the payment has been sent to my account last September 1.

Unfortunately, I had a not-so-good experience with them. I had stopped writing reviews for them a few months ago. After 30 days, they are suppose to send me payment of the reviews I posted on my blog. But most of the time, they put the payment on hold. They would send me an email with the subject line “Error, Entry Not Found 30 days later”. Oh really? Then when I replied it took them time to manually verify that the post was indeed in my blog, and then I had to wait for a very long time before they finally pay me.

What’s worse is that after 30 days, they send you a message that the advertiser cancelled the campaign and so they suggest that you just delete the post from your blog. But it has been visible there for 30 days!!! It’s all water under the bridge now. They paid me but they gave me headache too, so I would not rather use them again. Well some might claim that they did not encounter any problem with Blogsvertise but it’s not the same for me.

I have joined other Get Paid to Blog sites but I don’t have much feedback about them because I was not able to get opportunities from the consistently. Right now, I am sticking with PayPerPost, Social Spark, Review Me, Sponsored Reviews and BuyBlogReviews.

I want money, but where do I start? What do I need to do?
Do I need to have a website? Do I buy one or build my own?
How do I build my own and what do I put on my site?
If I put up a site, how can I earn from it?
What is adsense? What is adwords? What tools do I need?
How do I generate traffic (visitors) to my site?
What's the secret behind making money?
(and probably more questions I can even think of) LOLZ

The point is most of you want to know where and how to start an online money making venture. So let's get down to the basics and forget about websites, forget affiliate marketing, forget adwords, forget MLM and all those terms: Let's start from scratch.

Let's start by putting up your own Blog. Why a Blog? Simple... This is the cheapest and fastest way to get started making money online. You can set up a blog for FREE.

There are sites like Blogger.com, Thoughts.com, MyBlogSite.com and countless of other sites you can search that lets you put up your blog for Free. I chose to have mine on Blogger (since it is a Beta program owned by Google, and is very easy to use, even an 10-year old kid can put up his own blog at Blogger in less than 5 minutes!) and if you are new to this, you might want to choose the same site so you can easily follow me.

A blog is very simple to manage. Once you have a blog you will then learn how to market it - get traffic to your site. A blog will teach you the basics and you can learn without spending gobs of cash in the process. Google will provide advertisements for your blog for free. You will earn an immediate commission from Google each time some one clicks an advertisement on your blog. Once you get your blog up and running you can diversify with affiliate marketing and other methods of making money.

Good quality posts will help drive people into your site... But okay, okay...let's go back and create that Blog first:

Go to Blogger.com and set up your account. When you have done this, we can begin. (Before creating your blog you will have to find a "niche" or topic.)

In blogger select Create Account.

Select a name. Try and use your keyword in the name and the blog address. (Use Capitals in your name but only lower-case in blog address.)

(I want to call my blog "Review Blog Write for Money" using the following address "http://reviewblogwriteformoney.blogspot.com". When I checked the availability I was told this address was already taken. So I tried this; "http://review-blog-write-for-money.blogspot.com" - This address is available and I am still able to use my keyword in the address and my title which is "Review Blog Write for Money".)

Fill in the word verification and hit continue.

You will now be asked to select a template. Later you can experiment with all the different templates, then hit CONTINUE to select your template. Next you will see a page that says "Your Blog has been created".

See? we're halfway there !!! =)

Hit "Start Posting" and we will begin the next step.
Before posting let's go into "Settings".
Fill in your description. Make sure you use your keyword more than once in your description - this would help on your SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
After your description scroll down the page and hit "Save Settings". Don't change any of the yes/no settings. Leave them on default.

Select the "Publishing" tab.
Select "Yes" where it says "Notify Webogs.com" and hit "Save Settings" (the default is NO) This will help notify the outside world each time you post something or update your blog.

Select "Formatting"
Change "Show" to 1 posts on the main page. (Default is 7)
Select your time zone.
Set "Show Link Field" to Yes.
Leave everything else as is and hit "Save Settings".

Select "Comments"
Select "Show" for Backlinks.
Select "Yes" for Pop up Window.
Select "Yes" for Word Verification.
Enter your email for comment notification.
Hit "Save Settings", and leave everything else on default.

Select "Archiving"
Set the frequency to "Monthly" and the "Enable Post Pages?" to "Yes".
Hit "Save Settings"

Select "Posting".(let us make a sample post)
You will notice that you have a Title Field, a Link Field, and a big box where you will type in your post.
It is important that each and every title you use has your keyword in the Title.
In the link field you want to type in your blog address so that the post links back to your blog.

Make your first post the same way. Use your keywords and then hit "Publish".

StudioShare is the industry's best revenue sharing program for freelance writers. Payments vary by article, generally increase over time and are paid out monthly for all approved assignments.

Pro: The pay per article is much higher than many other websites that allow writers to make money writing. Demand Studios also pays on a weekly basis.

Cons: Finicky editors. If you cannot write articles that will meet their standards you will get a request for a rewrite. While I have encountered several editors that make outlandish requests, many of the editors' requests are reasonable.

Demand Studios welcomes new and talented writers under the condition that they have a resume to submit. To get paid to write at Demand Studios, you should first complete some articles on Associated Content in order to build your portfolio. Your portfolio doesn't have to be breathe taking but it needs to be filled with informative articles that have been written concisely.

Odesk - oDesk is freelance company, you will receive a profile and an online resume. The best part is you will also receive an e-mail address and a secure log in. To work for oDesk you must have good knowledge of the English language and good over all communication skills, and be enterprising and ready to take initiative. Signing up for oDesk is free.

Depending on your appetite for work (and for income), you can maximize your allowable applications at any given time. With oDesk, you can set your won rate (which you can change anytime). There are hundreds of thousands of job offers you can browse through that will match your skills and interest.

Payaout is weekly and through Paypal.

Con - Many providers are discouraged from joining oDesk because of the relatively comprehensive profile requirements needed to be completed before you can have your profile displayed in oDesk’s roster of providers. (but these processes actually boosts your profile and increses your chances of getting hires for each job you eye for).

Craigslist - is becoming the place to look online for just about anything. It's a classified ad type site, covering everything you can imagine, including freelance writing jobs. Each Craigslist site has the same category structure, with a few being of interest to us freelance writers. Craigslist is free to join and the registration is very simple. A registrar just needs to fill in their email and name to become a Craigslist member.

ReviewStream - this is a site that allows you to review just about anything - - - perfumes, hotels, food, shops, electronics, magazines, you name it. I call this site "Review everything under the sun."

They give you $2 for a good review, but in instances your review doesn't meet their criteria, you get the bulk rate which is $0.40. No sign-up is needed, you access everything through your email which is also your Paypal email account (that is how they process your payment). Checking your submission status, update your earnings, are done by just entering your email. But you get confirmation messages in your personal email for all your transactions through ReviewStream.

From my personal experience, reviews that are 300 to 500 words long are the ones that get the $2 rate, but that doesn't work all the time. There is a technique too, I also found that most reviews I wrote about hotels, Health, and Electronic gadgets are paid $2 per review even some of those only contained 250 to 350 words, while those reviews I wrote about Food, Cosmetics, Books, Websites and Cellular services only got paid the bulk rate. Sfter submitting your review, it takes about 72 hours (excluding weekends) for it to be posted on the site and to get paid.

Payout is at $50 and you have to send them a formal request for payout, because some reviewers opt to accumulate funds before requesting payout. But payout is fast, usually within 2 hours from submitting your formal request.

Cons: Don't get too excited!!! $2 per review is easy to make, I know! I can easily type a 500-word review in 3 minutes. I can submit up to 20 or more reviews per day if I wish. But when I once did that --- I once sent about 12 reviews in one day, they only paid me $2 for two of the reviews and everything else was paid $0.40.

So you see, you really can't make thousands of $$$ from this site in one month. If you just want a few couple of bucks or an extra $100 a month, this can be a great place to make it.

PaidMailz - this site pays you to do several things like readin emails, searching products, clicking on ads, or referring your freinds - - - whichever you will find more interesting or convenient. Payout is at $1, and it's free to join!

Trekpay – is a site which allows you to make money (about $5 to $200 in a month depending on how much time you want to spend on the site). It is really a very easy way to make money, coz the site pays you to do things you are actually doing - - - browse through pages, click on an ad, search items, etc... - - -
Payouts are done weekly and through PayPal . Minimum cashout is at $5.50 --- ain’t bad huh??? =) The site doesn’t require you certain number of hours in a day to stay logged in in order to earn, you can even log in for a few minutes in a day or whenever you feel the need to do so. Points are earned by reading health related articles, signing on, inputting health information etc. The best way to gain points and make a good use of the site at the same time is by tracking daily food intake and exercise. This racks up points pretty quickly, and serves as a good reminder, to maintain healthy habits. You could even use it provide a monetary reward to help you attain weight loss goals.

Cash redemptions can be done quarterly, during the first 15 days following the quarter (during the first two weeks of January, April, July and October). The minimum payout is $25, which is easily reached. Just reading a few articles and inputting daily food and exercise, should bring you to the minimum within a month, if used regularly. Additionally, when your referrals request payout, you will also receive a bonus equal to 25% of their earnings, which could really add up to a nice little quarterly income. It takes awhile for checks to arrive (5-6 weeks), but I can vouch, they do arrive as promised. Wellness360 is one of my favorite paying sites on the web.
